The doctors told then that Ted would have more energy after the surgery and she said NOOOOOO, that is the last thing he needs is more energy. I thought it was kind of funny.

I am so happy that Himself has beat the odds. I feel like I've known him for a long time just by your descriptions of him. I want him at 100%!!

The Twitter thing wouldn't have been any problem at all if it just would have been ignored from the beginning.

I am much more inclined to supr the local Kale guy than I am ever to support the chickens. Can't they just ignore this stuff and move on instead of turning it into a reason for people to hate them?

BillWilliam J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17369149140083493527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5906407940530405089.post-12242654660590072182011-11-29T19:43:23.584-08:002011-11-29T19:43:23.584-08:00Hi Pat

He may be going home in a couple of days.

The heart attack stats surprised me. Interesting take about the metabolism being at the lowest ebb when heart attacks happen. You would think the no stress times would be the least likely time to keel over.

Twitter doesn't allow filtering that is why it is getting so many people in trouble, they are talking unedited. The girl vs the governor is a tempest in a teapot and should have just been ignored.

Whe do have a Chick-Fil-A locally beut I don't go there now and now will never go there. Where are these company's pr teams? Can you just say ignore. Now eveyrone hates them.

BillWilliam J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17369149140083493527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5906407940530405089.post-39784639205692739822011-11-29T13:50:21.254-08:002011-11-29T13:50:21.254-08:00Yea! on the good news about Ted's surgery and ...Yea! on the good news about Ted's surgery and recovery. As to worst time to have a heart attack - you're right, anytime is bad. However, our anecdotal experience supports the theory. Himself's heart attack occurred somewhere around one or two in the morning, was considered "a widow maker" and the cardio said he'd be lucky to get 50% of function back. Fortunately, he's at about 100%, so we've been blessed.

I'm with Pat on Tweeter. And Facebook. When will people realize the entire world can see whatever they post and, if it's negative, there are going to be probably repercussions, anything from this instance to people losing jobs and being sued for slander and defamation of character. Too bad you can't fix "stupid."

The chicken versus kale? Who could possibly confuse the two? And it sounds like the guys business is more local or regional than national. Yes, I understand branding is important and if the guy was doing "eat more burgers," there *might* be an issue, but kale? I give him credit for promoting local growers and farmers.Lady DRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01520387022184142662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5906407940530405089.post-88386679968740500862011-11-29T13:16:48.253-08:002011-11-29T13:16:48.253-08:00I'm glad to hear that Ted is doing well!
Inte...I'm glad to hear that Ted is doing well!

Interesting about the heart attack stats. I think your metabolism is at its lowest ebb in the wee hours of the morning, so maybe that accounts for something. You'd sort of think such a low-stress time would preclude heart attacks, but I guess not, and that it's a bad time to have one. Not that there's a good time.

I'm beginning to think Twitter is a curse upon humanity. So yeah, the Gov's office overreacted, but the tweet was a lie in the first place, so who was wrong here? Another stupid tempest in a teapot, IMO.

As to the "Eat More Kale" t-shirts, what a stupid thing to get exercised about. If there were a Chick-Fil-A locally, and if I ever ate there, I'd stop.Pathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15888509132720963681noreply@blogger.com
