Today it is off to Mom's for lunch then back for dinner and to spend the night. I would have to be there this afternoon also if it wasn't for mom playing bridge this afternoon.
A lot of times when I visit Mom I am reminded of some bad habits I have. Yes, believe it or not I do have some bad habits. I found the following article interesting:

One of my bad habits is snacking:

Speaking of bad habits I think our judicial system has a bad habit of convicting the wrong person:

I hope you enjoy your mom time, and that you also enjoy a little reprieve due to bridge.
I don't think I have any of the habits she mentions. I'm assailed by lots of them occasionally, but are they habits? Nope.
Apigenin? Sheesh! When will they quit finding cancer-curing, or at least fighting, new compounds we've never heard of?
Being wrongly convicted must be one of the most terrible things that can happen to a person. The worst, of course, being capital murder, but even a long prison sentence must be a horrible nightmare. DNA seems to be helping, but probably not enough.
Hi Pat
I am enjoying my reprieve from Mom with the bridge club and I sure I will enjoy the time with mom.
I also don't think I have any of the bad habits she mentions but I have so many others I might try the philosphy to work on mine.
I had never her of Apigenin but I like celeary sticks to I am going to be eating more of those.
I was stunned at the statistics in the article we can do better and need to do better.
Bill
