Can you do nothing for two minutes? Just two minutes? Sound easy? It isn't.

Do you turn your dreams into solutions for your problems?

Now on to mind boggling stupidity. No wonder our jails don't have room for real criminals.

Can I do nothing for two minutes? Yes, if the website is an indication. In fact, I've bookmarked it for taking breaks during my working hours. I was tempted to move the "pointer" out of the ocean, but resisted. Next time I'll know to get it in a lower corner, before the video actually starts. I think it's a great idea.
Dreams are a sometimes thing for me. I don't often remember them. When I do, they're sketchy, at best, and usually seem to be an indication of something that's bothering me, but not necessarily a solution to a problem, if that makes sense.
Stupid is right on the last article. Here is a woman trying to better herself, by getting her teaching degree, and safeguard her children, while getting them a better education. If their neighborhood school was safe and providing that education, would she have needed to do what she did? And, if the grandfather is living in the district, is he not paying taxes to support the school? I think the jail sentence was overkill and I think charging her with a felony that prevents her from doing the job she's worked hard to qualify for is nuts. What's she going to do? Get a job at McDonalds, qualify for food stamps and other programs, when she could be self-supporting and setting an excellent example for her children? I hope her appeal points out the grandfather was supporting the school district his grandchildren were attending and the whole thing gets thrown out and she gets some kind of restitution. If we had decent schools for all neighborhoods, this wouldn't be an issue, would it?
I'll second DR on the last article. I'm sure this is done all the time, and I don't much like making an example of one person to the extent of jail time and a loss of career possibilities. Not to mention that the kids are now living with grandpa in that school district, but are not going to that school.
I don't remember my dreams with very rare exceptions, so I can't say if they are helpful or not.
I know that two minutes can be a long time. I could probably do it, and now and then I do, but only when I can lie down and relax, not sitting in my office chair.
Hi DR
I am surprised that you could do nothing. I really had a hard time with it. It pleases me that you book marked the web site!
I dream a lot and my dreams are very vivid and sometimes in color but they are really about problems, they are mostly about people or being put in a situation that I will most likely never be put in, in life. So what you wrote does make sense because it is also I.
The last article bothered me on several levels. High schools recruit athletes all the time to go outide of their district. Why is this so different? Great point about the paying taxes. I not only hope she wins her appeal I hope there is a financial penalty for all those involved in arresting her in the first place.

Hi Pat
I know it is done all the time in sports, in fact districts encourage players to move out of their district into their own if it would improve their teams. If they punish this lady they should punish all the schools that ever recruited an athlete outside their district.
I sometimes write down my dreams but only when they scare me.
I can relax in a working enviornment either!
