It is dangerous to text and drive. Survey after survey has stated that. Yes teens are not getting the message:

Good for Fort Lee. Texting should be illegal everywhere. It would be as annoying as people yelling into their cell phones, except that at least texting is quiet. Texting while driving should be punishable by jail time.
Like the "flying cars" we were promised back when, I doubt I'll see most of these cars of the future. Which is just as well. I'm quite happy to have a nice little car that gets good gas mileage and is comfy to drive. If they can eliminate accidents, I'm all for it. Otherwise, don't we have enough toys?
Hi Pat
I completely agree with you that texting while driving should result in jail time. It is the only thing that is going to stop people from texting.
I think we will see flying cars in our lifetimes. According to the article some are going to come out in 2014. I am also happy with my car and would be reluctant to driving a flying one.
