Begging For Soup

Happy Saturday. Moving right along already knocked five things off of my to do list. Going to Mom's in a few minutes to fix her lunch. Then make dinner for the troops. Tonight they are having cabbage rolls, sweet baked potatoes and spinach.

I work hard but I should just beg instead:

Maybe I should just fix the troops chicken soup for tonight:

Good news on the health front?

Glad you had a good day and shortened the to-do list.

The story about the fake beggar is a combination of depressing and irritating and annoying. How the heck do you blow away $2.4 mil (I think that was the number)? Doesn't sound like it all went to medical issues. I guess one of my hot buttons is people who can least afford it are the most compassionate in giving. Do you think this guy is reporting his income to the IRS?

Always good news, when researchers begin to ask the right questions and begin to track some answers. Given the number of people, particularly among the elderly, who have Alzheimer's or dementia, I applaud any progress in research into the causes, prevention and treatment.

Hi DR

If the begger is reporting his income to the IRS I would be really surprised. But my guess after this story the IRS won't be far behind him. They have a staff that reads newpaper articles to see if there are stories like this and then follow through on them. I hope he gets his.

I thin that is the most important part of any research. Asking the right questions.
