Saving Seattle

A relaxing Saturday deserves a fun, good, and touching story. A huge shout out to the City of Seattle. The world is a safer place because of Super Hero, Electron Boy:

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2011740342_electronboy30m.html

Have you ever wanted to be a super hero? What special power would you possess if you had the choice? I would love to be a super hero, just don't know which one. The power that would like to have is X-Ray vision.

Off to mow the lawn. May this be a great day for you and may you use your super powers to help others and make this world a better place!

PS

The answer to yesterday's Who Am I was Isadora Duncan. The next Who Am I will be Monday.

"What a great story! And what a great day for that kid! Go Seattle!

Me? I'd like to fly!

Hi Pat

It is not only a sweet story but an incredible one when you think how many people had to work together and cordinate the wash.

OK, when you fly I can use my x-ray vision to look ahead for any obstacles you might run into.

Bill, what a marvelous story. As Pat said, amazing the number of people who worked together to make it all happen. I have to admit to getting a little teary-eyed about it all.

Do I want to be a super-hero? I've never thought about it. I'd be happy to be a mini-hero, if it made life better.

Special powers? I'd like to have the power to touch peoples' minds and replace greed, ambition, hatred and power needs with understanding, charity and a desire to make the world a better place for all those who deserve and desire peace and contentment.

Hi DR

Heck I got more than teary eyed. Just touched me that so many kind people out there.

It would be nice to wave a magic wand and have all the evil in the world go away!

What a great story and such a great wish to come true. How they made all that come together is amazing.

I also would like to fly. ( I also dream I can fly, I have never told a soul that)

Somehow, Bill, I think I might have guessed your powerful wish.

Wow, I am glad to see I can finally post a comment. For days when I try it either tells me I have the wrong password or it says it is a security problem and will not allow my comments to post. Is that strange or what?

Dona, I've not had problems lately, but for a while, I'd have to re-enter my valid password as many as half a dozen times, before it would let me post my message. Yes, it's strange and I've no idea what the "glitch" may have been, but it finally went away, thank goodness. (Knocking wood)

Hi Dona

It is always so nice to see you post!

I used to want to fly but at the young age of 8 I jumped off the roof of a barn and tried to fly. Broke my collarbone.

This really is for everyone but if you are having problems you can email me and I can see if I can find the answers for Google.
