The Dancing Dahn Report

Dancing With The Stars was on the last two nights. Men danced Monday night. Women danced Tuesday night. I really don't know what was eating Judge Len last night but he was downright mean. He completelyy underscored what I thought was the second best dance of the night, Mya's. Maybe he couldn't refill his Viagra prescription. Here is my recap:

The Surprises:

Tom Delay has a personality even if he can't dance.

Kelly Osbourne can be both feminine and elegant.

Joanna Krupa has moves.

The disappointments:

Ashley Hamilton can't dance.

Macy Gray is clueless.

Mya is absolutely beautiful and can dance.

The contenders:

Donnie Osmond, Mya , Kelly Osbourne, Joanna Krupa, Aaron Carter, Natalie Coughlin,

The elimination:

Who I want to go home: Tom Delay, Macy Gray. Who will go home: Louie Vito, Kathy Ireland:

The Dances: The average judge score follows the names, my score in parenthesis:

The women: Viennese Waltz: Kelly, 8(8), Mya 7* (8), Melissa 6,(7),& Macy 5,(4). The Salsa: Joanna 8,(7), Natalie 6,(6) Debie 5,(6),& Kathy 5,(5).

* false judges' score, two judges gave her an eight, Len gave her a five.

The men: Foxtrot: Donnie 7,(8), Louie 6,(6), Chuck 5,(5), & Ashley 5,(5). The Cha Cha Cha: Mark 7(8), Aaron 7 (7), Louie 6 (6), and Tom 5,(5).

A note to the producers, don't waste any time interviewing Ozzie Osbourne. You can't understand a word he say and even if I could understand what he has to say I wouldn't care.

Dancing questions today. What famous person would you want to do the Foxtrot with? I'm going with Ashley Judd. What famous person would you want to do the sexy salsa with? Sandra Bullock is my choice.

TODAY'S TRIVIA:

Yesterday's answers: Japanese Movie Monsters, Kate Jackson, Barry Manilow wrote the company jinglss, they all can be spiked, and they all have channels:

What do these three things have in common:

Mary Ann Mobley, Phyllis George, & Lee Meriwether. Other than being women.

Little Red Riding Hood, A High School Gym, and A hot air balloon.

4, 9, and 16. Other than being numbers, more about what kind.

A year, a mattress, and a car.

The Statue of Liberty, A welder, and an Olympian.

Easy question. Antonio Banderas for both. And you can add the tango.

Generally agree about DWTS, though I don't have most of their names yet. Mya was the best of the women; Len underscored her when he really should have been mad at her partner/choreographer. He wants them to be traditional and they keep foiling him with crowd-pleasers. Kelly Osborne was a surprise -- not bad at all.

Donnie Osmond was surprisingly good, and so was that blond kid, whatever his name is.

Tom DeLay is an indicted criminal and shouldn't be on the show at all.

Hi Pat

I agree with you re Delay although they have had those that have served time on before. L'il Kim last year, for example. I just don't like him but he wasn't as terrible as I thought he would be.

Aaron Carter is the blond kid. I was determined to not like Donnie but he was having so much fun!!

I actually liked Donnie before DWTS. :)

Hello there Delightful Dona

I liked Marie Osmond before DWTS but turned against her because she stayed on the show long after she should have and better dancers kept getting eliminated.

I was kind of afraid the same thing would happen with Donnie. But he looks like a much better dancer than his sister and he looks like he will stay on for a long time.

And it doesn't hurt that I am in love with his partner.

Hi Bill, I always thought Donnie was a better dancer than his sister, but even though I never thought she could dance, I thought she did ok on the show til she started doing some of the silly stuff. Probably because she couldn't get any better at the dancing.

I also thought Kelly did better than I expected. Hope it will be a good season. (as Top Chef is a bit boring so far)

Hi Dona

I thought Marie was a good dancer, just not as good of dancer as some of the people that got eliminated before her.

Donnie actually looks like he has the talent to win this season!

Top Chef is boring but did get a little more exciting this week with the Matten red ribbons, the contestant hating on Robin, the she wins immunity. A little more excitement this week.
