OH, Bill, two such heart-warming stories. The young cancer patient is such an inspiration, to be thinking of younger kids, rather than himself. And the Transitional School sounds like something every small to large city should have. What dedication to finding the kids who need stability and keeping track of them and allowing them to stay in the same school. It seems to me this would make a huge difference in their lives. The bus driver sounds like a real jewel. The stories were interesting, with the ages being at both ends of the spectrum and neither "expected" to do as they're doing (a kid and a woman due for retirement).

As a tag-on, the bone scan is done, painless, easy (except for the getting up at 6:30 am part). Himself drove me over for the injection (in the interest of anyone else who might be on the road with me at 7:15 AM), then back for the scan (so he could go wander through his favorite tool store, nearby). Tech said my doc should have results tomorrow. If she hasn't called by Monday, I can drive over and get a copy of the results myself. I did that with Mom's brain scan, when I knew the results had been sent to the doc, but they said they didn't have them.

Hi DR

I am tickled that the bone scan wasn't to difficult. Now I am anxiously waiting the result.
