A Sick Update

Last week. I was at Mom's Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday Morning; Got sick on Thursday and spent a day in the hospital. Friday I rested all day and I am doing the same today as the indigestion came back. Saturday I took Mom to lunch and mowed the lawn as I was feeling pretty good.

This upcoming week I have a morning seminar on Wednesday and am at Mom's that night and Thursday. Monday is doing a set of books for a client. Tuesday is not doing much because I am working on feeling good. Friday is probably a movie.

There is no entertainment updates as all the show I have watched are done for their seasons. I don't watch So You Think You Can Dance or The or The Bachelorette. If any of you do and want to post summary, feel free to.

DanaRae needs some prayers for he Mom. Dona and The Shankster need prayers for themselves. Pat needs good vibes while she is waiting for the result of some big time tests. If you know of anyone else in our group that needs some prayers or vibes please let us know.

And update me on your life! Fire Away

Sorry your indigestion came back, but at least now you know what it is and that makes it less frightening if no less uncomfortable. You have another busy week coming up, so don't get stressed, okay? I have two days of waiting and a biopsy on Wednesday. Then more waiting. Sigh.

I watch some of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, but there's nothing to update about that. Some really good dancers, some not-so-good in the auditions. One guy danced himself right off the stage, but didn't seem to be hurt. I don't watch BACHELOR or BACHELORETTE except snippets once in a while when channel-surfing during commercials. What I do see makes me amazed. All contestants are very good-looking and very stupid.

Lots of good vibes coming for everybody that needs them -- DR's mom, Dona and the Shankster, you, and me. {g}

Not happy to hear about the indigestion returning. I hope you can find ways to reduce the stress in your life, so you're feeling good again. Soon! Sounds like you've got a pretty busy week coming up, for someone who needs to rest, relax and recupe.

Pat, you know you have my prayers. Dona, I've had you and the Shankster in prayers every morning, wondering how he's getting along, thinking he had some tests coming up about now. Bill, thanks for mentioning Mom.

Good week here. Pool four days and - finally! - got to line dance. Yea! Three days of editorial, finished a project and looks like I have the month of June off, as the scheduled client needs to wait 'til fall and July's client can't move up, because she's not ready. Actually, it may be a gift from God. There was so much didn't get done with the ribs and so many projects and cleanups and organizational stuff I want to do, it's nice to know I've the time to do them at a decent pace. Lots of puppy time, with two dogs needing attention, Spook missing Al,house training Scamp, leash training both of them. They're tremendously entertaining, chewing on each other, bickering over chew toys, playing tug of war with some of the plush toys. It's been so hot here (averaging 100+ midday, with attendant humidity and heat indexes off the chart), we've spent limited time outside, other than potty runs and leash training just before dark, so most of the rough housing takes place inside, usually in my office. Scamp discovered the toy basket, which has been ignored by Spook the past year, and systematically empties it, anytime I gather up stuff and put it back. I've started on some of my clearing/cleaning/organizing projects and can see they'll take a bit of extra time, as I have a constant "helper." (wry g)Himself is home from his ten day trip to OK, so next week will be establishing new routines for meals and "walks" and training and the like. Hopefully less demands from Spook for my time.

Bill I am sorry your indigestion is back. Glad it isn't anything more serious, but it is no picnic either. I also think you have a lot planned for the week if you were planning on resting. Hopefully you can get as much rest in as possible, you have to remember to take care of you. Stress can be a big trigger for a lot of things. So be careful.

I don't watch anything other that the shows you mentioned either so no entertainment updates from me.

Pat I didn't know you had anything going on, but will pray and hope that your biopsy comes back ok. The waiting game is most times overwhelming. We have been going through that with the Shankster a lot of late. So, we are sending good vibes the wait will pass quickly and good news is the outcome.

DR, sending prayers your way for your mom. I hear ya on the humid days, we have had them also. Its miserable to do anything much outdoors. But I am sure those babies of yours are keeping you entertained.

We have had a wild few weeks, what with the tongue surgery, and the waiting game on whether it was cancer or not. Then the other problem he has, he had to have several tests and procedures that were none too pleasant but the results of not finding cancer or any other problem was worth it..well to me, not so much the Shankster...:) As he was still in such pain with the tongue and not being able to speak or eat, and just the miserable pain. He was to have surgery last Friday but it was not cleared by the Heart Doc, they thought too hard on the heart and wanted to check him out first so he did, and he passed with flying colors. So next surgery is on for the 20th. Shankster is still in a bit of pain, speech is getting there,he has lost 12 pounds...trouble is I think I gained it....so don't know if I want you all to pray for him on this next round of surgery or pray for me to lose the weight I gained? just joking.

I wish you all the best and thank you all for thinking of us and sending good vibes, everything has worked out so far, we appreciate the good thoughts that came our way.

Hi Pat

You are right on the indigestion was just really uncomfortable not scary like before.

That would have been kind of funny to watch the guy dance off the stage. The few times I watched the Bachelorette I agree with you, the men seem dumber than a mud fence.

It really does seem that all of us here could use good vibes!

Hi DR

I feel a little better this morning but not all the way there yet.

Speaking of busy weeks you had a pretty busy week too! I'm glad you got to line dance. I think the month off will be good for you.

Dogs are entertaining. We have temps in 80s which is perfect, I don't like 100s

Hi Dona

You really have had some wild weeks and speaking of stress it must be a high levels for you and The Shankster. I hope the tests are done for The Shankster and am elated that it wasn't cancer. I don't know if I could go through a period of not speaking or eating. I hope his pain is less. Will be sending prayers and good thoughts for the surgery on the 20th. And I will pray for you to lose weight.

Good vibes and good health to every one.

I haven't been watching terrestrial TV much because we got cable recently. Which means that I've stopped watching all the US shows. I got hooked to an Australian show on cable, called Bondi Rescue. Sun, sea, surf, lifeguards -- better than Baywatch if only because the accents were more interesting. :)
