I Forgot

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Going to be 70 here today.

My friend's daughter, Jessica, is an accomplished photographer. See is having her first show this weekend. You can see her creations here:

Let's move on to one of those charming stories, one that makes you happy there are people in the world like the ones in the article:

How are you doing with your memory? Sometimes I am doing great with my memory and can remember every detail of events for years. Other times I have to look at my drivers' license to remember who I am. Here is some help for people like me:

I saw an interview with Marilu Henner recently, and I was very surprised and impressed by her total memory. I wonder if that's a good or a bad thing to have. It doesn't seem to have done her any harm.

My own memory is spotty. So many things from my childhood and youth seem to be of another person altogether. Some memories are pretty clear; others only extremely vague if there at all. I don't, so far, seem to have any real memory problems, or the kind that affect my life, at least. Lately, I'll go blank on a fairly common word for a while. It always comes to me later, but not soon enough to use the way I planned to use it. And names. Forget that! I've always been bad at names. I remember people, but not what they are called.

Quick comment - we're safely home and I'll try to catch up in the next few days. WiFi wasn't all it's cracked up to be on the road. Now, the site doesn't want to let me post a comment. I'm heading to bed.

Hi Pat

I have been impressed by Marilu Henner ever since she quit acting she really is an amazing woman.

I am the same shape you are with the memory. Spotty. Sometimes it depends on how I am doing with other things and how much stress is going on in my life at the time.
