Update On Comments

Today would have been my dad's 100TH birthday. He always wanted to live to be hundred. I am sorry he didn't make it. May my dad rest in peace.

Last week, Sunday lunch with Mom. Monday the movie CRAZY STUPID LOVE. Tuesday and Wednesday nights and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday days at mom's. Friday was the movie THE HELP. Yesterday was cleaning house. This is a major cleanup. Cleaned the fridge and the windows. Polished all the furniture. Moved all the furniture and vacuumed behind them. Cleaned all the light switches. Mopped the kitchen and bathroom floors. I am completely done with downstairs.

Next week, today is finishing the major cleaning project by cleaning the upstairs. Two more bathrooms to clean up there. Monday is mom to lunch. Tuesday maybe a movie. Wednesday night and Thursday day at Mom's. Friday is errand day. Saturday I have no idea what is on the agenda.

Just a comment on the movies. THE HELP is a really good movie that has The Dahn Report's stamp of approval for most ages. The only swear wood was shit. Good story and great acting. Good one to take my Mom to. CRAZY STUPID LOVE not the greatest, not the worst to much swearing for all ages, decent acting, uneven story.

I'm sure your dad is celebrating his 100th with friends and family who've gone before. Which doesn't make it easier for you (Hugs!)

You had another busy week. Glad you enjoyed "The Help." I read the book, which was quite good. Uh, given your description of cleaning, would you like to come out here and do my house, please? Lately I seem to only "hit the high spots." Sounds like next week may be a bit more relaxed?

Standard routine week, sort of. Pool, line dance, groceries, domestics, Scamp time and training, editorial work. Line dance at new place. I think the room will work well (especially if they get the a/c problems fixed), the sound system is great, the tile floor is "sticky," but I hopefully have a fix for that. Best news is I was able to dance the full two hours, with only an Advil the last half hour, so the hip is definitely getting better. It's only about 7 minutes further away, once I figured out back roads. There's a Bilo on the route and I discovered a cosmetology school, got a haircut for el cheapo and better cut than what I've been getting elsewhere. Changes at the pool - both PTs who've been there ten years had their last day Friday, new ones coming on board in a week, rumors of changing hours for us to use the pool. Stand by for further news and hope it's positive. We have finally had a couple short rain showers, thank goodness. Not enough to save the garden, but we're happy to see any rain at all. Temps have dropped to ninety. Awaiting arrival of one of Himself's ham buddies, who is bringing his wife and his ten month old puppies, each of which weights sixty-five to seventy pounds. It could be an interesting visit. Scamp's only doggie exposure has been Spook, who weighs 20#.

Hi DR

Thanks not only for your kind words about dad but also for you faithful posting of your updates.

The movie THE HELP had mainly unknown actresses and actors which made the movie even better. There were several laugh out loud scenes and there were a lot of scary and touching scenes. The running time was two hours and seventeen minutes which is normally to long for me but it flew by.

I only do this type of in depth cleaning once or twice a year so you have to catch me before the next go around.

It is more relaxes this week because it is one night at Mom's, even if I take her to lunch one day it really isn't that intrusive.

Twnety pounds!! Scamp is doing so well, you should be proud!

Your weeks always seem busy to me. I didn't know you had a new place to line dance, new people in the dancing group too? Two hours complete session of line dancing. YEA! Great news on the haircuts.

Keep us updated on the new hours and the new PTs

Hope the visit goes well. I am sure it will with the wife and husband but the dogs may be sticky.
